Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support. 

My personal story is that tragically, my mum passed away very suddenly last year. We discovered that this was due to a heart attack; caused by a very gradual build up of fatty deposits in her arteries (Atherosclerosis). Something that we were told would be unlikely to have been found under any current routine checks that would be carried out.

I am hoping that by helping to fund the research of the BHF this can be something that can be detected more easily going forwards, so no-one else has to go through the pain that this caused my family.

Furthermore, I have friends who have suffered heart problems and wouldn't be here themselves if it weren't for the great work that the BHF have done over the years.
