Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page to support our swim from Gosport to the Isle of Wight.

We are swimming from Stokes bay to Ryde via 2  shipping channel markers (Browndown and Motherbank) on Tuesday 22nd September 2015. The distance is approximately 4.5 miles (assuming we manage to swim in a straight line), and we hope to complete the journey in about 3 hours.

In total there are 24 swimmers and kayakers, that will be making this crossing as a group to help support this great cause.

Please support us with any donation, all is appreciated!

About the charity

The Oakley Waterman Caravan Foundation provides respite breaks at two Haven parks in England for children suffering from life threatening illnesses. Our caravans are well equipped and away from the normal routine children can enjoy a short break with holiday type entertainment for the whole family.
