We provide support and fund research to improve lives everyday

Story

On 22nd December 2019, we lost our beloved mum & aunty Almaz, at the age of 51, after a 9 month battle with an aggressive form of Scleroderma. She was suddenly diagnosed in May with hardly any prior symptoms and deteriorated extremely fast shortly after, with every single organ affected.

Scleroderma is a very rare autoimmune disorder that causes the immune system to become overactive, attacking healthy tissue in the body and currently has no known cure. Only roughly 0.03% of people in the UK are suffering from it, making it really hard for doctors to diagnose it early enough and also find ways to successfully manage the symptoms.

We will be doing a 10k run and skydive in July/August to raise money and awareness for Scleroderma & Raynauds UK, an amazing charity working very hard to support those with the condition and their families at such a confusing and distressing time. The charity helps fund research to one day find a cure so that no-one else has to go through half of what Almaz did.

Almaz was the most loving and caring person, with the biggest heart, treating every child as her own and every adult as family - we will make sure her legacy lives on forever.

We would be grateful for any donations - please give as little or as much as you want, it will be going to a great cause!

Much love,

Mical, Adiam and Jonny
