I’ve decided to go on a journey to Albania in Eastern Europe in December 2022 on a huge mission to feed 500 poor & needy families in this cold and dark winter with the Mercy to Humanity team.

Worldwide, there are more than 600 million people who suffer from chronic hunger. Extreme food insecurity brought on by severe poverty will mean these people might go days without eating.

The reward of feeding the poor is immense, and the Qur’an tells us that the righteous “give food, out of love for Him, to the poor and the orphan and the captive, [saying] “We feed you, for Allah’s pleasure only — We desire from you neither reward nor thanks.” [76:5-12].

Although I’ve reached my target of £1,500, I want to help my group reach the group target of £15,000 inshallah. 

I will inshallah be handing your donations (food packs) personally to the beneficiaries.

The cost of one food pack is £30.
Each food pack contains 25kg of food which will sustain a family of up to 4 for a month. The contents of the food packs include:

▫️Pasta
▫️Salt
▫️Cornflour
▫️Beans

We are accepting Zakaat, Sadaqa and Lillah for this project.
