I'm running the London Marathon and the Round The Island Ultra Marathon in 2016 for Make-a-Wish Foundation! That's 26.2 miles in April and 100km (70 miles) over two days in July, running the whole way round the Isle Of Wight! I must be crazy!

When my brother Michael was diagnosed with Severe Combined Immunodeficiency shortly after he was born, he spent the first few years of his life in hospital receiving intense treatment and tests. Despite not being able to live a 'normal' life my parents and the doctors and nurses  at GOSH helped to make his early years as enjoyable and loving as possible. Fortunately, Michael was blessed with a trip of a lifetime to Disneyland Florida with my Mum thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation along with loads of other children fighting life-threatening conditions too. 

I'm so proud of my brother, who beat the odds and is now living a normal life with quite a few less trips to the Hospital! I know how grateful he is for having his wish granted, and how grateful we are as his family. 

The work Make-A-Wish do is remarkable, and provides Children who are fighting life-threatening conditions with the chance to have their wish granted and  make amazing memories. I'm so grateful for this place on the #RunForWishes team and hope to raise as much money as I can for them!
