My brother David, is currently serving in Afghanistan with the Royal Engineers.  As his sister, I am immensley proud of what he and all of the other brave and dedicated servicemen from our UK forces do on a daily basis.

By running the Liverpool womens 10k, I hope to raise awareness and sponsorship for my chosen charity, 

Help for Heroes and to show all of our troops how much they are appreciated for their courageous efforts home and abroad.   

I hope all of my friends and family will dig deep and give as much as they can and support my brother, and all of the other brothers and sisters, sons and daughters serving for our country.
