In October 2013 we lost a very special lady to cancer. I am entering The Great North Swim in memory of Anne Clift my mother in law and to raise funds for St. Cuthbert's Hospice where she spent some of her time during her illness.

They provide specialist care to all those affected by life-limiting illnesses and  support each person and their family and friends, helping them to make informed choices and decisions affecting their lives.

This will be my first attempt at any type of large organised open water swimming event so please make a donation, big or small - all will be greatly appreciated.
