Story
I will be climbing the 278 steps of the Newport transporter bridge with my 5 year old daughter on the 15th January to raise money in memory of my younger brother Lee who we lost to Suicide 3 years ago age 28.
Did you know sadly in Wales 285 suicides were registered in 2020 and this is just the tip of the iceberg as there has been alot of delays with the statistics
I will climb 278 steps to celebrate the 28 years that Lee lived full of wonderful memories, laughter and love how we lost Lee In no way defines him as a person.
Mental health affects everyone and does not discriminate it is so important to raise awareness of suicide and how we can prevent it.
The jacob abraham foundation supported me and my mum through the worst days of our lives and for that I am forever thankful.
Please help me raise money for this wonderful charity who support bereaved families but most importantly provide suicide prevention counselling and support services that are desperately needed.
