Story

I am a 17 year old brain tumor survivor. More importantly, I am a musician. Using my passion for music, I plan to post videos of my performances here, and keep a music journal of songs that inspire me everyday, as well as songs that I am learning on a certain instrument and hope to videotape to post on the website. Music has been my life for years, and it got me through the hardest year of my life. I am hoping that you all will enjoy my music, and be inspired to donate to my passion, Teenage Cancer Trust.

I love rock and roll, and I love the Who. Roger Daltrey has personally inspired me to get involved with Teenage Cancer Trust. I was forced to be treated in a pediatric hospital at age 16, needless to say, it got pretty annoying at times. I am here to raise money so that teenage patients who are already facing a challenge in life don't have to worry about staying in a place where they will be welcome and comfortable. Roger once said to me "You are not a child, and you are not an adult. You are a teenager and you need to be treated like one." He is absolutely right. Teenagers need their own place to be treated, and I hope you will share my motivation with others so that we can accomplish this goal.

Thanks,

Sarah
