I vividly remember when my best friend told me that she’d been diagnosed with Bowel cancer. Shock and tremendous sadness overwhelmed me. 

Aimee is a fighter and after a year of invasive treatment she got the all clear. 

A year on and she faces yet more heartbreak as she battles the disease again. 

Aimee has 3 beautiful children aged 12, 9 and 7 who have been just as resilient through the past 3 years, but the worry and relentless time away from their mum when she goes to ongoing appointments and hospital visits takes its toll.

Please help me raise money to give them a chance for some fun days out as well as  access to counseling while they continue to support their mum. The Chris Aked Foundation are an amazing charity that can make this ambition happen, and their work deserves a higher profile too.
