Just because I am smiling doesn't mean I am happy
My name is Sarah-Louise Roberts and I am 34 years old, I live in Cardiff. I was first diagnosed with a mental health problem in 1997 and since then I have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and Clinical Depression. I have also battled with drug and alcohol dependency for which I am totally recovered from. I am still on my journey to a smile and battle daily with BPD. Mental health is invisible and people get mistreated or swept under the carpet. My aim in life is to help as many people as I can and for people to get the help they need. There is a serious lack of resources. There needs to be better resources in place for people who are feeling suicidal. Crisis Intervention Teams currently won't help you unless you've hurt yourself or attempted suicide. It shouldn't get that far. Don't let people get forgotten.
