The Priscilla Bacon Hospice charity has already raised over £7.1m of their fundraising target and now needs to hit the £8m mark, to allow them to start building the new hospice in the Summer of 2021. This is the aim of the '£3 to Break Ground' campaign.The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a dramatic reduction in appointments and treatments for cancers and other life-limiting illnesses, the consequences of which will be felt for years to come. With only 16 specialist care beds for a population of over 1 million, the need for the new hospice is now even more desperate.

The Priscilla Bacon Hospice helped Dad and Mum so much. They listened to Mum and Me when we needed a shoulder to cry on, provided Hospice at Home care during the last two weeks and advice. Time spent talking to us was never a issue and they listened to us many days. All of the ladies who helped care for Dad were our angels and we are truly grateful. Mum and I could never thank them enough for everything they done for Dad.

We are asking for people to make a donation rather than send flowers as its what Dad would have wanted. Mum and him were regularly making donations for this cause and its only right we continue to dontate to ensure others are helped by this fantastic charity.
