Story
As most of you will know, my beautiful sister Julie Ross died in 2018 aged only 46 from cancer. She spent quite a long time in Willowburn Hospice in Lanchester up until she died 18th May 2018.
Every single person at Willowburn cared for Julie and her whole family, the team there are amazing. I had said I would do the Great North Run for them this year to raise funds, sadly due to COVID this event is not taking place however I still want to raise funds for them.
I’d greatly appreciate it if you could donate some money towards the hospice via this just giving page so that they can continue their incredible work.
I have worked throughout lockdown and haven’t trained for the GNR so I’m going to walk 5 miles of the coastal route instead -I’m not fit and too fat and don’t want to end up putting strain on Julie’s beloved NHS so I’m keeping my goal simple! The point of all of this is to raise money in memory of Julie to keep Willowburn going.
