We bring hope and protection to children in the world's hardest places

Story

Over the last year, we've had a number of 'scrapheap challenges' (from elastic band guns to cardboard boat races), and this is the final, ultimate 5 day challenge!

On Monday 26th August, we will build our raft (with barrels and plywood) and will then set off downstream, from Reading, camping along the way. By Friday 30th, we hope to have made it as far as Windsor. (If we are making good progress, we'll continue past Winsdor towards London).

Please do sponsor us! We're likely to get very wet, and may need to re-build our raft along the way if it fails to hold up to our original design. It's going to be a challenge, but it should hopefully also be a lot of fun! You'll also be supporting a fantastic charity - World Vision provides relief and hope to poverty-stricken chidlren, families and communities all over the world. The money raised will be used to support a community in Honduras (Sarah supports a 4-year-old boy, named Lusvin, there - see photo above).

Thank you very much :-)
