When I was a little girl & my mum was sick,then my grandad,then my other grandad,then my cousin,then my dad....I always remember hoping that by the time I grew up which seemed so far away that there would be cures for all these awful illnesses that had affected my family and it wouldnt all be so scary because we would be able to fix it.....but unfortunately my growing up came quicker then you think it will as a child and these diseases didnt go away...there are still so many more people close to me that  have been affected by Cancer,Most that beat it thank God,but not my dear Grampy.....and still so much more that needs to be done to beat this horrible disease.....So for anyone that knows me will know that I hate running and have never been a natural gazelle in this area of sports,but do it for those I love,those I dont know and all their families with their own stories and for my gorgeous children and their futures in hoping that the word Cancer won t be so frightening when they grow up Xxxx
