We run fun workshops, outings & events to improve life for people with dementia

Story

During these times of Covid-19 Butterflies fundraising has been hit severely! We had to cancel any plans we had for our 10th birthday celebrations. It has been tough year for ALL.

So on, Monday 7th December 2020
We are asking you to wear your favourite Christmas jumper and donate £2 to us!
We are hoping this will help to raise vital funds to help keep our charity going and offering the support needed by all of our members
and their families.

Thank you for all your continued support!

Our meetings are seen as a lifeline to the people who join us, often they have become isolated because of their diagnosis.
They are able to make new friends and share experiences with others facing the same challenges.
We rely entirely on fundraising to provide our services.
Without your help, we will be unable to provide the vital services to those who come to us in need.
Help us change the lives of whole families affected by dementia. Thank you for your support.

About the charity

Our ethos is “There is life after a diagnosis of dementia”. We aim to support families and find ways of encouraging those with dementia, and those caring for them, to recognise and use the skills that remain for as long as possible, not highlight and dwell upon those that are lost.
