HELLO!

Ok so this is my third year doing the Great Swim and the third charity that I have raised money for. I was considering not mithering you nice people for money again this year and just doing it for myself but where's the fun in that?! 

The British Lung Foundation is my chosen charity this year because last year my Uncle Bill was diagnosed with Lung Cancer, related to working with asbestos for many years, and only a few weeks later he was taken away from us.

Lung cancer affects 1 in every 7 people in the UK, especially those that smoke. As someone who has grown up around smokers and that has seen the effects first hand I want to help a charity that is working hard to encourage people to stop smoking in addition to all the other great work they do.
