There are no medical services for young people to have their hearts tested on the NHS if they feel well yet 80% of young people who die playing sport have never reported any symptoms. CRY provides heavily subsidised and sometimes free heart screening for people aged 14 to 35 and detect a serious heart condition in 1 in 300 people. Over 80,000 people have been tested and many treated. I am proud to be their cardiologist and want to run this event to raise the profile of the charity. Please give whatever you can afford.
