We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Mothers, Fathers, Daughters, Sons, Sisters, Brothers, Uncles, Aunts, Grandparents, Friends, Neighbours, Men, Women, Young, Old, Rich, Poor….  As we all know; cancer does not discriminate.  You probably know someone who has battled cancer, or you might even have yourself. It’s an awful disease that affects millions of people around the world, and though many types of cancers can now be cured, many sadly remain incurable. Extensive research is still needed to help protect us, our loved ones, and future generations, and that’s why I hope you’ll support me in supporting Cancer Research UK, the world’s largest independent cancer research charity.

I’ve been running for a little more than a year now; already last year I thought about joining a Race for Life event, but I never got around to it, but this summer I’m taking part in two!  The first one is on July, 5th in Newbury and the second race is on July, 19th  in Hyde Park, London (the page wouldn’t let me add a second event :-( ). As I wanted to set myself a challenge, I have opted for the 10k distance. I’m looking forward to taking part together with thousands of other women, gathered in the fight to beat cancer.

So please dig deep and donate now; you’re helping to save lives!
Once you've donated you're welcome to enter my "Race for Life Candy" on my blog: www.sandyandandy.com

Thank you very much for your support,

Sandy, x.
