Story

As ex chair, and current vice chair of the ECCDS, a charity which I am incredibly passionate and proud of, I am looking to raise money for the charity.

The event is organised by Surtees Lodge 4593,  and is their Annual 3 Day Bike Ride.“S2S”[ Kelso, Scotland to Shildon, England]

28 brave riders and their support team will spend the May Bank Holiday [28-30 May] overcoming 180 miles of off-road cycling to raise money for worthy causes.

This year there are four new causes being supported:
The Education Centre for Children with Down Syndrome [ECCDS]
Brain Cancer Research
Grace House Children’s Hospice
Whitworth School [children with severe disabilities]

ECCDS have three cyclists participating and also, a leading member of the support team, which is me...sorry to disappoint anyone by not being on the bike, but my contribution to behind the scenes is much needed!

All involved pay for their own food and accommodation, therefore all money raised goes to charity/good causes! Any amount big or small will be very much appreciated!
