Samantha's 12 Challenges
Samantha Turner is raising money for Keisha's Blessing
Story
This year, I'll be completing 12 challenges to raise money for Keisha's Blessing, who provide support for bereaved parents and their close family. They offer a free stay in a peaceful retreat in the quiet Brittany countryside. During their stay, they have the space and time for reflection, enabling them to gather strength to carry on and move forward.
I'll update this as I confirm my challenges, but so far this is what I'll be completing:
- Cold Water Swimming Championships: 26 January
- 10K Winter run: 4 February
- Climbing one of the more challenging routes up Snowdon: 2 March
- Swimathon (5k swim): 29 March
- Great Northern SwimRun (Lake Windmere): 8 June
- Selkie Henley Classic - night / dawn swim: 30 June
- SwimRun Tooting Bec: 3 July
- Running half a marathon: 3 August
- Not drinking any alcohol for 28 days (including whole on holiday)
- Marathon run: 15 September
- North Downs 50k walk: 28 September
- Trekking two marathons in two days through the desert: 13 October
