I only started running in April 2019 and it was going to be my first ever Marathon! From 0 to 26.3 miles in a year fuelled by my ambition to run a marathon before I’m 50! However, Covid happened and the country went into lockdown. I had been thwarted by injury along the way and when the marathon didn’t happen I ended up having steroids injected into my foot as I eventually found out that I had intermetatarsal bursitis (basically inflammation in between my toes). 🦶 😣 

However, I’m back!!! Fortunately I have an amazing support team to help me on my way and a friend that has also got a place to run in October. 🙌 

I am extremely proud to be representing Winchester Fit Club, which is an amazing community based club for all abilities and who are helping me on this journey. 😊 💚🤍🖤

I have decided to raise funds for Winchester Hospice as it is a local charity close to Fit Club’s heart following the loss of Tina Jury.  💖  Thank you to all those who already donated in 2020.
