We fund advancements and innovations to facilitate brilliant patient care.

Story

At St Austell RFC our main ethos is "we are a family, the Saints family". We worked hard and played hard this season resulting in us being promoted to the league above, something we are ecstatic about.

Throughout the season we have accrued money from players through 'fines': £5 if you get a yellow card in a game, £2 if you're late on game day etc. These fines are then used to help fund our end of season do. This year however, there won't be one due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Instead, we as players, decided to donate our fines money to the Royal Cornwall Hospitals charity.

You will be all too aware that our mighty Cornish hospitals are under funded and under resourced. We want to help our local NHS warriors and help raise as much as we can in these trying times. To show solitary to our NHS heroes (and because we have a Dr of our own in the squad) we are also going to shave our heads. Therefore, I'm challenging all members for St Austell RFC (Players, coaches, volunteers, supporters etc) and our wider community to get involved with this great cause. Brave the Shave and send your pictures to myself using my email - davey-06@hotmail.co.uk or via facebook (Miles Edward).

Please give us even more to celebrate by donating through this page and helping us reach our £2000 target.

Stay safe, stay home and support saints!
