We provide emotional and financial support to construction workers and their families

Story

The CECA 2020 Stop. Make a Change campaign is about reconnecting with our safety, health and wellbeing and that of our colleagues.  The Scottish Water construction Heads of H&S are promoting this fab challenge.

We want everyone to get a bit more active in a combined distance activity challenge - all human powered activities count - run, walk, swim, cycle, paddle, rowing even scooting!

Or connect with nature and join our photo scavenger hunt - email your pictures on the theme of #light or #water to HealthandSafetyConstructionContracting@scottishwater.co.uk

The Lighthouse Club are the only charity that provides financial and emotional support to the construction community and their families who have suffered an injury or long-term illness or simply need a helping hand. The club receive no public funding and rely on the generosity of those within the industry to help continue their vital work. Shocking statistics show that there is still much work to be done to improve the safety and emotional wellbeing of our construction community, but we can only do that with your support.

Every working day in the UK two construction workers take their own life. We are the only charity providing emotional and financial support to the construction community through our 24/7 Construction Industry Helpline. We need your support to provide more help to those and their families in crisis.
