Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I can't believe I'm doing this and it's possible that I may loose a few nights sleep but it will be worth it if I reach my target. I want to help families less fortunate than mine.

My mum was a single parent of 4 children. The youngest has learning difficulties and this led to my mum having her own mental health issues. We were so lucky that my Grandad stepped in and bought us a house,  and he was always there if we needed anything. He was an incredibly generous man with both his time and his money. Sadly so many families locally don't have a guardian angel like my Grandad George and they have endless sleepless nights worrying about how they are going to replace the cooker if it breaks or put food on the table. Some families don't have carpets on the floor or even beds to sleep in. There but for the grace of God go so many of us.
