As many of you know, a few years ago I trained as a psychotherapist. In my spare time I now volunteer for Highbury Counselling Centre which is run by my good friend and colleague, Marie Calvo.  Marie works very hard to make the centre run smoothly on very little funds.  All the therapists working there are highly-trained volunteers.   So I have been inspired to help them raise some money.

In a time when there are often long waiting times to access therapy with the NHS, their objective is to offer accessible and affordable counselling.  They offer a reduced-fee scheme for clients on a low income.
