Life is a journey, that is more worthwhile when travelled with others. It is in this journey that i have met incredible people, filled with passion and dreams. I came to know a person affected by heart disease personally, 7 years ago, in 2009, at  a beginners football refereeing course. However, due to the condition of his heart, he did not manage to participate in the fitness test. Now fast tracking to 2016, this year, when i saw the opportunity of raising funds for heart reasearch, i decided to take part in this bike ride, to support not only my friend but everyone else who is affected by any condition of the heart.
