There is no easy way to say this but Suzanne had to say goodbye to this most amazing man who she was honoured to share her life with for over 20 years. Richard Jackson passed away peacefully in his sleep after courageously battling cancer over the past year. Devastation doesn’t come anywhere near the impact of losing him . For those who knew Richy - you will know just how special and unique he was. He quite simply is the best - his kindness, humility, patience, wicked sense of humour, loyalty and devotion to his family are beyond description. Richy died as he lived - very privately but with dignity and courage.

In his final weeks Richie was cared for by staff at St Bedes hospice at QE hospital,  Gateshead.

 In lieu of flowers, could any donations please be made to St Bedes ward, in order to help them provide the amazing care and support to others who find themselves in similar circumstances.
