Every year as soon as the weather turns cold I become all too aware of the plight of those living on the streets.  I am always grateful that I have a warm home to return to and know that this is a privilege others aren't as lucky to have.

The Simon Community offer help to people who are experiencing homelessness or are worried about their accommodation and aim to offer personal support that matches an individual's needs.
They offer the services below throughout Glasgow, Edinburgh and across Central Scotland.

* Advice and information
* Help to find accommodation in a crisis or something more long-term
* Help with keeping your accommodation/tenancy
* Company and/or advocacy when you need to visit or call a service
* Life skills learning group (e.g. allotments, literacy, healthy eating)
