We support young carers in Oxfordshire to improve their mental wellbeing

Story

Students, staff and faculty at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford are supporting Be Free Young Carers, the School’s Official Charity Partner.

The School’s Running Group will be focussing our main fundraising efforts on the Oxford Town and Gown and the Oxford Half Marathon races. However, following the success of last year’s campaign, some members will also be seeking to take things a step further by entering monthly races outside of this main effort to support the charity, so all and any donations are welcome throughout the year, not just at the two flagship events.

Be Free Young Carers is the School's chosen charity – it is the only charity in Oxfordshire devoted to improving young carers’ wellbeing and opportunities, though the provision of recreational, emotional and social support.

It is the only independent charity in Oxfordshire working exclusively with young carers.
It supports them by widening their life options and improving their emotional and social health, resilience and development because we passionately believe they can be free to fulfil their adult potential unhindered by their childhood responsibilities.

Saïd Business School is committed to supporting Be Free Young Carers, thank you for any donation you can make to help us.
