C2C - walking 190 miles from Coast to Coast

Fundraising for MPN Voice (Guy's and St Thomas' Charity)
£3,094
raised of £1,000 target
In memory of Martin Robertson

Story

A group of family and friends are walking Wainwright’s 190 mile Coast to Coast footpath from St Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay. In memory of dear Martin - husband, dad, brother-in-law, uncle & friend.  Martin will be in our thoughts every step and raising money and awareness for MPN Voice will give us that extra motivation when facing those hills.

Follow us on our journey. We’re walking the first stage of 45 miles in 4 days starting on 30 May 2022 and will complete the remaining 137 miles in 2 further stages, one later in 2022 and the third in spring 2023.

Some walkers will complete the entire length of the C2C route, with others joining for sections along the way.

We’re raising money for MPN Voice (myeloproliferative neoplasms) to support the important work they do in providing information and raising awareness of myelofibrosis, a rare blood disorder.

Please sponsor us to reach our target.

About the charity

MPN Voice leads the way in supporting people with rare blood cancers called Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs), with accurate information and emotional support. We're funding research toward better treatments and one day a cure. Most importantly we offer hope to those affected by MPNs.
