Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Jamie was an irreplaceable friend, doting farther, and an incredible doctor who worked tirelessly throughout lockdown continuing to see patients face to face. And in out of hours clinics across the country.
There was a devastating accident in November 2021 in which Jamie lost his life.
Jamie loved being outdoors and took up marathon running in 2003. He was due to run Connemara Marathon for the fifth time on April 24th. Due to injury he had to pull out of recent Chester and Manchester marathons. But he was buzzing on his road to recovery and looking forward to Connemara, which has always been special for him. It would have been his first non-virtual event since lockdown.
I HAVE FAR LESS RUNNING EXPERIENCE! BUT I AM GOING TO RUN CONNEMARA FOR JAMIE.
I cannot express my gratitude enough for the efforts of the mountain rescue team.
But I would be eternally grateful for any donations to support them in providing their services to other in need.
THANK YOU!
