Ruth Makes Strides for Mental Health

Two years ago, I took on the Swansea Half Marathon, pushing myself to the limit. It was extremely tough, and hotter than the sun, and I cried, but I made it through. Now, I’m back – fitter, stronger, and more determined than ever!
This time, it’s not just about crossing the finish line. It’s about proving how far I’ve come, both physically and mentally. Exercising and staying active has been a huge part of my journey, and I’m taking my training seriously to give this race everything I’ve got.
I’m running to raise money for the Making Strides for Mental Health campaign, a cause close to my heart. Mental ill health can feel like a marathon—long, exhausting, and full of ups and downs. But with the right support, no one has to run that race alone.
Every donation, big or small, will help fund vital mental health initiatives and research for those who need it most. If you can, please support me on this journey—whether it’s with a donation, a share, a word of encouragement or a song suggestion for my playlist (I’m quite fond of songs from the musicals right now).
Let’s make every stride count!
Thank you for your support!
