Why Support MSF
The Muslim Scout Fellowship is a voluntary organisation supporting scouting in the Muslim community. Scouting helps young people to develop physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, giving them opportunities to gain skills for life and experiences they would otherwise never get to have.
Over the last 20 years, we have helped grow Scouting in the Muslim community from a handful groups, to over 135 Muslim scout groups and almost 8000 members, with another 40 groups in the pipeline wanting our help to set up - Alhamdulilah!
But the economic impact of the pandemic and the cost of living crisis has also disproportionately affected our community.
Despite our own higher operating costs, to keep our events and training accessible, MSF has reduced event and training fees and offers hardship funding to ensure that no young person or leader misses out.
All of this means that not only do we have more young people to support and more adult leaders to train so we need to have bigger and better events and training workshops, but we also have less money to invest towards them due to higher costs and reduced event fees.
We're now asking you - the Muslim community - to help MSF continue to support our Muslim youth by taking part in The MSF Wacky Races!
Thanks for supporting Scouts! Scouts doesn't just help young people to learn #SkillsForLife, it helps parents and communities too. But, don't just take our word for it, speak to our latest fundraiser to get their story.Scouts has helped millions of people over the years, but there's still thousands of young people on our waiting list. With your help, another young person can enjoy new activities, make new friends and embrace new opportunities.Thank you for your incredible support.
