November is prematurity awareness month. 

Every year it is estimated that 60,000 babies are born under 37 weeks of gestation in the UK. 

This equates to 1 in every 13 babies born before 37 weeks. Colourful Beginnings support families with premature and sick babies in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) in the UK. They provide care and companionship to families with premature babies, and a platform for all those affected by premature births to come together to support each other, no matter what stage they are on their NICU journey.
