Lee Rudd is raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page to help all of us at Ruddlette Ranch raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
In August 2016 our daughter Lacie-Blayke needed to have heart surgery due to a condition she was born with. Throughout our rollercoaster ride of a stay at GOSH, the support we received the from Staff and Volunteers was truly amazing. Not only did they take care of our baby, but they also made sure we had the support we needed at all times. You could say that they took care of us too.
We all think we know what goes on in this amazing hospital, however my eyes were truly opened to the commitment and dedication of everyone we met. So, with this in mind, we would like to show our appreciation by doing what we can to raise as much money as possible over the next 12 months.
Lacie-Blaykes surgery was a complete success, and she's now back at home with her two big sisters and the rest of her life ahead of her, for that we can't say thank GOSH enough.
The response from friends and family has been truly overwhelming with offers of support and donations already.
So, we have set ourselves a target to raise £1,000 for every family member who lives at Ruddlette Ranch. With Lee (Daddy), Maxine (Mummy), Phoenix-Elise, Tawni-Jai & Lacie-Blayke, that's a challenging £5,000 which we would like to raise over the next 12 months.
During the next year I will be running in the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon and hosting various local music events to attempt to achieve our target.
