Whilst I was hoping to be running the Royal Parks half marathon in London this April in support of Career Ready, it has understandably moved to a virtual event for the time being with actual event postponed until later in the year. So yes I will technically be running a full marathon... just don't worry about the couple of months break at the half way point! 

Career Ready is a great charity that I have connected with through my job, I currently mentor one of their students and have seen first hand the impact they have with supporting students from underprivileged backgrounds as they prepare themselves for what comes next after school. As you can imagine the effect of the pandemic on a lot of the kids they work has been disproportionately worse which makes the work they do even more important.

I appreciate there is a lot of uncertainty right now and everyone has been impacted by the pandemic in different ways, so all I am asking for is a donation of £10 per person. I've figured that I know enough people that should see me comfortably meet the target and hopefully raise a lot more, first drink is on me when we can finally get back to the pub!
