Story

One Week in June is an exciting fundraising week where colleagues from across The Royal Bank of Scotland branch network an telephony centres will help raise vital funds and awareness for the mental health cause.

From Monday 10th to Friday 14th June, RBS colleagues across the country will take part in a variety of fundraising activities to raise as much money as possible for two mental health charities – SAMH in Scotland and MIND in England and Wales.

Back in March we asked you which charity you would like to support during OWIJ and the overwhelming response was mental health. The aim is to raise as much money as possible for the charity and also raise awareness amongst staff and customers.

SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) is a charity in Scotland who operate within 60 communities across the country providing mental health social care support, homelessness, addictions and employment services. Their mission is to lead by example, to be innovative, purposeful and challenging in all that they do. SAMH campaigns for rights and rights based services, challenges stigma and discrimination and promotes inclusion
