As a lover of animals and having been a trustee of the Radcliffe Animal Shelter for 8 years, I am so proud of what our staff have achieved during my tenure, especially these past 12 months. Under the amazing guidance of our manager Ella, who has been associated with the centre for over 30 years, and our veterinary team under the guidance of our Vet Jo, they have achieved miracles. Rowena our "Cat Lady" has been with us for 35 plus years and is a gem. There'll never be another!   

Under normal circumstances I would do charity events and talks throughout the year in order to help swell our coffers, sadly during this past year it hasn't been possible.  On March 30th I will be giving a fun and fact Zoom talk to raise funds and we would appreciate a £10 or more donation, and there will be a Q&A at the end. The talk title is, "You're Never Too Old To Rock 'n' Roll" it's part one of my talks about the early days of pop music and the part I, and my many showbiz pals played in it.  Many thanks and I hope you can join me at 7.30pm on Tuesday 29th March.
