We support the work of UCL Cancer Institute to advance cancer treatment in the UK

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I work in the UCLH oncology department which treats over 11,000 patients with cancer every year. Despite our best efforts, cancer remains the leading cause of death in the UK.

I am running the London marathon for the UCL Cancer institute which supports basic laboratory and clinical research with the aim of developing better, more effective treatments and improving the outcome for cancer patients.

Training  for a marathon is pretty tough but easier than undergoing cancer treatment. I am running the marathon to help all our patients both past and present. Thank you for all your support.
