DMSF Associate Board Fundraiser

Story

#Giving Tuesday - November 30, 2021

For those that are unfamiliar, DMSF is an amazing organization that provides high school scholarship assistance and educational support to Chicago students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. DMSF has awarded over 3,000 scholarships over the past 30 years and 100% of Murphy Scholars go on to graduate from high school.

My involvement on the DMSF Associate Board and in the Mentor Program has allowed me the opportunity to participate in a great cause and meet bright young scholars. Join me and the DMSF Associate Board this Giving Tuesday in supporting the Murphy Scholar Mentor Program!

For many of our Scholars, the high school experience requires emotional, academic and social adjustments. To help ensure their success, DMSF matches Scholars who request a mentor with dedicated individuals who serve as confidants and advisors. Mentors and Scholars communicate regularly and meet at least once each quarter.
