Pledge 1000 is One Family's commitment to providing 1,000 Syrian adults and children with life-altering prosthetics and orthotics, costing only £1,000 per patient.Through barrel bombs, land mines and more, countless Syrians have had to suffer catastrophic injuries - forever changing the course of their lives. As well as contending with the loss of their homes, their land, and their loved ones, many are also having to face adjusting to a life with a disability caused by the war. One Familys Refugee Fund partner - the National Syrian Project for Prosthetic Limbs (NSPPL) - has been working tirelessly to provide support to those who have sustained injuries resulting in amputations. As of March 2022, the NSPPL has provided more than 10,000 prosthetics and orthotics to 8,000 Syrian refugees.With your help, we can help the countless Syrians waiting on NSPPLs waiting list for a prosthetic or orthotic limb.
