Story
"Hi I'm Ronnie Straker, I initially grew my hair because I thought... why not, plus it annoyed my mum!! Then as it got a bit longer I thought I could actually put my hair to good use and try and grow it even longer (and annoy my mum even more). I thought it could be used to help children with cancer. It must be really hard for them when treatment causes them to lose their hair. I'm so lucky to be well and healthy, it's good to help if I can. It would be really great if you can also sponsor me to raise money to help those children in other ways too, so please donate".
Hugs Childrens Cancer Charity is a not for profit supporting families with the devastating diagnosis of childhood cancer by providing one to one support for parents, care packs for those in hospital, toys and vouchers, food boxes and hot meals to those most vulnerable or isolating and group events. We are also very proud to offer families a unique respite break in our home in Cornwall, somewhere to breath when the world of childhood cancer can be too much.
