On 1.2.2020 my cousin Dermot McGuinness lost his life in tragic circumstances. Dermot was a friend to many in the Killeavy and South Armagh area especially in the farming community. Dermot was a very social person who regularly called with friends, neighbours and into the sale yards enjoying the craic and hearing the news. I had the pleasure of working with Dermot and in his memory I am going to complete a skydive for PIPS who provide immediate support for anyone in the community with suicidal thoughts, high levels of anxiety, poor mental health or who are bereaved by suicide. This is a wonderful service which provided great support to Dermot’s family following his passing.
