Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Our daughter Emma Ross suffered a cardiac arrest aged 9 at school on 26/02/2014. Emma was 'dead' for 44 minutes. Dumfries hospital got her heart started again and was made stable there before being transferred to Yorkhill where she was critically ill for weeks, when we were told that it would be unlikely that she would survive the first 24 hours. Emma is still hanging on and fighting every single day. We are hoping to have her home by August, she still has a long way to go.
We are trying to raise as much as possible for Ronald McDonald House as they get no government funding and rely on people's donations. If it wasn't for the a place like the House I wouldn't be able to be with my little miracle every day and keep her strong. Emma's dad Lindsay and her little sister Evie also use this facility at weekends with me when they visit Emma.
It's a great place to stay and it's free to families but in reality it costs nearly £40 per night to give a family a room. So please dig deep and make a donation and help us raise our target, thanks.
