We have created this page in honour of our beautiful mum who passed away in July 2019 from Mesothelioma. For those of you who don't know Mesothelioma is a cancer caused by exposure to asbestos and is sadly incurable...but it is controllable with treatment...more people die of Mesothelioma in the UK than anywhere else in the world.

St John’s Hospice, an independent charity located within the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in St John’s Wood, provides specialised palliative care to more than 4,000 terminally-ill patients and their families every year. 

The team at St John's Hospice were truly amazing when our mum was there for respite. They were very helpful, compassionate and attentive to her needs. She built a lovely relationship with the nurses, boasted about how great the menu was. She'd even save a copy just to show her friends. We can never express the gratitude that we have for the staff and we want to continue the support for as long as we can.
