Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
What a year 2020 has been, with so much uncertainty, upset and pain for many families. I will be forever grateful that it brought me a happy and healthy distraction in a little boy. Robert will turn 1 on Friday 15/01/21, his entrance was speedy, scary and eventful requiring not only the help of an amazing friend by my side but also that of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
Here we are a year later and Robert and I would like to thank those who helped bring him safely into the world on the A72 at the foot of Tinto. We can’t have any of the regular celebrations or the fundraising coffee morning we had hoped for so in the spirit of COVID lockdowns Robert is taking inspiration from Sir Captain Tom who walked 100 laps of his garden for his 100th birthday by walking 1 lap of his garden for his 1st birthday and staying home to stay safe and will be eagerly cheered on by his big brothers.
It may seem a small challenge but we are fairly limited to what we can do in lockdown! All three boys have had a trip in an Ambulance and we would love to see Robert’s efforts going some way to give back and show our support to the wonderful service and would be so grateful if you would sponsor him to help the paramedics and technicians on the front line who have been nothing short of heroic during this pandemic never mind in “normal” circumstances.
