Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I wanted to come up with a novel way to support the Pahar Trust’s brilliant 30 for 30 campaign; celebrating 30 years since they founded their first school.

This is something I will struggle with. I barely go a weekend without bacon, I’ve a penchant for pork scratchings and drink a teacher worthy amount of coffee with plenty of milk; complete with staff room all butter biscuits.
Hopefully my self-inflicted misery might make you chuckle at the ridiculousness of it and donate a couple of pounds to help support the education of some of the poorest children in the world.
And if some habits stick and can help me practice what I preach and eat a greener and more sustainable diet then surely that’s worth a pound or two too?
The money truly will make a huge difference to the lives of rural communities of Nepal. In 30 years the Pahar Trust has delivered 248 projects in 21 districts, building and renovating 159 schools, 51 libraries and 38 other essential projects such as health centres and toilets. Over 40,000 students have benefitted from .
The ‘30 for 30’ campaign aims is to raise £50,000 to help 30 schools in Nepal improve their teaching provision and facilities for pre-primary school children aged 1-5 years old.
