Any of you that know me well will know that I am not built for speed and really not built for distance running. So make no mistake this will be a serious challenge for me. I am personally papping myself especially now I am adding pressure by asking for your kind donations.

With time on my hands recently I have laid down the challenge to myself to drag my body around 13.1 miles of road in as timely fashion as possible (primarily so I don’t prolong the agony). So on the 25th May 2014 I will be taking on this feat in Liverpool and I would kindly ask that you sponsor me and support the Alzheimer’s Society with your charity donations. I have first-hand seen the effect on a lovely lady who suffered from this disease and also experienced the effect it had on the immediate family who loved this lady so dearly. Any money that we can raise will go into research and/or care and this will be gratefully received. It is genuinely is a worthwhile cause and I honestly wouldnt ask you to donate if it wasn’t, so please donate what you can.

To add an incentive (not that you will need one) and to give a little thank you back I will be giving a bottle of top quality champagne to the person who guesses the closest time to my actual finishing time.
