Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Paris Half Marathon on 4th March 2012 in memory of my Grandmother who died of Myeloma almost 5 years to the day of the race.

Myeloma is a cancer of the plasma cells in the blood. It causes the production of large numbers of abnormal plasma cells. This reduces the body's ability to fight off infections and weakens the sufferers' bone marrow.

My Gran was a wonderful woman and grandmother who put up an extrordinary fight against the disease. In her memory, I want to raise money for Myeloma UK a charity that is dedicated to improving treatment and care through research and raising awareness of the disease.

If you can spare a few pounds to support their work it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
